Sync command `--noop` does not provide any helpful output
Description
The output of choco sync --noop
(or --whatif
) is unhelpful, and not what you might expect.
It would be nice if this would output a list of packages it would create if not in noop mode.
As an addition, though I gather you can provide an output path for the generated packages, there is no way to generate-and-not-install them - it would be nice if we could allow a non-elevated user (or process) to generate the appropriate packages.
Why Is It Needed
Customers may want to see (or store) the potential results of a sync
operation without generating (or installing) the resultant packages (e.g. if the user is not an admin). Arguably, the output should be more detailed than it is.
