new release?
Hi,
I have just seen that we are close to 1000 commits since the last release: https://github.com/chocolate-doom/chocolate-doom/compare/chocolate-doom-3.0.1...master
Maybe, even if there wasn't this one big new feature among them, we should just release the current state as 3.1.0.
What do you think?
Even if there wasn't a major new feature there have definitely been enough emulation and QoL improvements to justify a new version.
Shouldn't v3.0.1 be added to github releases also?
In github terms it's only a tag, not a release.
I see, but it causes some confusion regardless because if you visit https://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Downloads you are pointed to 3.0.1 binaries (which one would consider a release). If you visit https://github.com/chocolate-doom/chocolate-doom/releases you can only find a 3.0.0 release. Finally, if you visit https://github.com/chocolate-doom/chocolate-doom/tags you are pointed to the 3.0.1 source code and nothing else.
