@Brisingr05 100% agree. The configuration you shared however didn't do anything for me. Do you know where this should end up? Is this because of the niri-portals.conf being copied?

Ah sorry I was just in the middle of editing my post. OK here's what I found. The above settings link to `/etc/xdg/xdg-desktop-portal/niri-portals.conf`. Then somehow there's an environment variable `$NIX_XDG_DESKTOP_PORTAL_DIR`...

I also had the same issue and ended up using `picotool` for flashing and converting instead.
