Well, I'll likely be playing the game again sometime soon so I can keep this in mind this time, I've been wanting to get back to actual game testing again....
I have two different ways of playing the game with gemrb really, one is to just play the game and scribble notes when something is not working, the other way...
I think even if manual save states are a bit awkward, a good compromise would be to enable the 'save on exit / restart on load' feature by default that...
Enhancement idea: forget about the load screens like EE does, but don't forget about them completely
