Appearance settings don't apply after reboot

I've changed many appearance like: text color, font size to 9px, font style to Bold, etc. But it always reverts to default setting after I reboot my phone.

  1. Do the appearance settings apply before reboot?
  2. After reboot, only the indicator reverts to default (settings page shows your custom setting), or the settings page also reverts to default?
  3. Do other setting changes still apply after reboot? If yes, which settings can persist across reboots?
  4. If you can find the log in /sdcard/NetworkSpeedIndicator/, please send it to me.

Testing:

  1. Change the settings (Indicator Appearance, Unit Settings, Text Appearance) to look like the screenshot ( 21_21-09-2014.png) (*)
  2. After first reboot, my settings is still OK but it's not apply. Screenshot: 22_21-09-2014.png (*)
  3. I do step 1 again, and I change Indicator Settings to just show download speed (upload speed is hidden)
  4. After second reboot, it's happen again like step 2. Sceenshot: 23_21-09-2014.png (*)

=> All settings do not lost, but not apply.

It looks like all settings are disregarded upon reboot. I have seen this issue before. Sadly the log is kinda useless. I think the module is not writing into it correctly. Is there any other recent log file?

Can you try downgrading to previous versions one by one (up to v0.9) and testing this again? Please tell me which version works. (If a version crashes, continue downgrading.)

No, I tried all these before version. v0.9 when I reboot, I don't even see the indicator in status bar. I opened xposed installer, it'd been enable before. I also tried to open NSIndicator to change all settings but it not show. It show again when I reinstall only (clear data is useless)

That bug in v0.9's fixed in 1.0 pre-realease 2 (I've not try pre-realease 1) After pre-release, indicator show when reboot but settings are not apply.

I will try pre-realease 1, if needed

Ah, the missing indicator in 0.9 was fixed in pre-realease 2. From pre-realease 2 up to 1.0 b1, settings are not apply after reboot.

Just to confirm, are you using the latest Xposed Framework revision? What are the revision numbers?
