[FEATURE REQUEST] Default values for {{VALUE:variable}} variables.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. A clear and concise description of what the problem is. Ex. I'm always frustrated when [...] I want the option but not the obligation to fill in values when I make a new file with QuickAdd. Defaults would allow this.

Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. I wish I could put

{{VALUE:variable name[default value]}} 

Or some similar syntax to express that if the user does not supply a value, the default value will be used instead.
Perhaps this string could simply pre-populate the field for the user input dialog, and be fully selected so the user (me) can just start typing to change it.
