Macros Configuration: Editors Command

Hey everyone, just wanna ask a simple question about the plugin. Does anybody knows what the editor commands do, like the copy and paste command, and can you give me case examples on when and where to use it? I'm curious because, as far as I know, I couldn't find any example of when to use this feature.
