[FEATURE REQUEST] Request confirmation on exit from the modal capture dialogue

I had several situations (like 5 times already?) where I write text in the capture window and then lose the entirety of it when I exit w/o pressing enter. This would be resolved if there was a confirmation dialogue when attempting to exit capture with unsaved text; currently, the text is lost.

In fact, I don't understand why the capture window sometimes disappears like this (I don't press Cancel and don't press Esc). However, since I can't reproduce it, I'm filing this as a feature request.
