Commands don't work with external windows

Title says it all: The menu stays floating above te main window when external windows are opened in parallel. That would be only a little annoying. But the commands are actually caught by what I believe is the last active note tab in the main window

This could easily be remedied by making the menu float to the active window, regardless of it being main or external.

Is the plugin still under development?

I very much hope so. I LOVE and USE it every day ... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!

The author seems to stopping maintaining the plugin. Try this. Obsidian-editing-toolbar :smile:
