I had a suggestion, could you maintain separate css files (in repo)for different sections of the interface? To start with, the css that modifies the editor (eg the formatting in the notes pane) could be refactored in a separate file. ~~The code that powers the style settings plugin could be another thing.~~

This may allow me to apply your beautiful theme with my custom typography and formatting.

Yes this is doable! But I can't give an estimate on when I will get this done unfortunately. So sorry but I'm pretty busy at the moment 😞. I'll try my best to maybe work on this sometime during the end of this week.
