Filtering doesnt show all rows

Hi, This plugin has great potential. I am using it on a table that has over 3000 rows. When you go to filter the filter dropdown shows the total number of rows but when you select it only shows a few rows. I have tried the fork of udif which is much faster but still has the same issue. any pointers would be great. See image below for better explanation. image
