Minimizing Nautilus Causes unity to crash

It's related to GNOME. Most GNOME apps you minimize cause unity to crash. I don't know what exactly is the reason though. What I usually do is use the ubuntu version of the program

The ubuntu version in the Unity-for-Arch repo doesn't seem to apply unity patches. I mean you have to download and build the package from http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/nautilus

Se how nautilus doesn't have the GNOME borders when you use the ubuntu version: snapshot5

This issue appears to be related to the one I posted here. Looks like the patches aren't going through perhaps, I'll try build it using the PKGBUILD later when I get some free time.

Same thing seems to happen with gedit now.
