Not able to boot after updating ramdisk

My Samsung Galaxy S5 klte with the AOKP custom rom failed to boot and went into ODIN recovery mode after updating ramdisk and rebooting. I booted into recovery, updated my rom and i am able to boot back into Android haven't tried updating ramdisk again

are you using adoptable storage? I'm using, and update ramdisk always fail.

how did you update ROM? Help. Im on MI MIX 2 with TWRP installed. I dont have other ROMS
