Confusion regarding the 3D rendering

The documentation/comments are unfortunately not very clear in render3D.py. May I ask what is the input for the script? It seems that load_data_path() returns three different convex hulls, namely first_hull, w_all_hull, init_hull. Could you elaborate on what are these hulls representing since it's not immediately clear from the code.
