Strange? I tested in VBOX and IdeaPad 300 with several different ISOs of super_grub2_disk and none of them will work with chainloader (UEFI64) command.

That is not the same ISO. You are testing the ISO that is just for UEFI. I am testing the recommended hybrid version which is for i386, x86_64, i386-efi and x86_64-efi The hybrid ISO can be booted by grubfm and Ventoy but not by grub4efi.
