Have patched the lib with your merge proposal in order to read var(Z,Y,X). https://github.com/cheminfo-js/netcdfjs/commit/122924176ba90f52076d18e1d0497966cb8ecf3a It works with my test.

Now how to read only a slice of data var(2,Y,X) for example ?
