Brew install automatically starts on boot, Startup checkbox is not checked

Description

Brew installing Workstation on MacOS causes the installation to auto launch on system startup. Opening the preferences screen the "Start Workstation App on system startup" checkbox is unchecked.

Hi, Can you please confirm once Is the workstation-app is launching automatically on system reboot.

I tried to install the workstation using the brew also from the website https://downloads.chef.io/tools/workstation and facing the same issue i.e the app gets auto launch on the system startup though on the preferences screen the "Start Workstation App on system startup" checkbox is unchecked. Looking into it.

Yes. Auto starts on reboot and cold boot

Looks like the problem exists even if one installs the application manually. The solution is to remove the launch agent:

rm /Users/$USER/Library/LaunchAgents/io.chef.chef-workstation.app.plist
