windows_service attributes run_as_user and run_as_password ignored?

Has anyone been able to get the run_as_user or run_as_password to work for the windows_service resource? When I tried to run it, the Log On information does not get updated when I look in the Windows Services console.

Do you know of a good way to change the Logon As user for the chef-client service? Right now the only way is through a PowerShell script.
