Desktop icon issues

I cant use my desktop icons that show up on the komorebi wallpapers

I believe to have run into the same issue with Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon. It seems like the application somehow started twice. When I try to relaunch Komorebi, the icons show up briefly and then disappear again behind it.

I tried the gsettings command and the uninstall script but neither worked. For Cinnamon I found out you have to make a new .desktop file in /etc/xdg/autostart.

/etc/xdg/autostart/nemo-autostart.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Nemo Desktop
Comment=Nemo Desktop Autostart
Exec=nemo-desktop
NoDisplay=false
X-GNOME-Autostart-Phase=Initialization
Name[en_US]=nemo-autostart.desktop

Log out and then log back in and it should work.
