Artist names with a trailing period cause an error when trying to download their submissions to their artist subdirectory

As the title says, when trying to download a submission from a user with a trailing period as part of their name the addon fails to download anything because it can't create a folder with a trailing period.

For example I tried to download a file from Cracker. and the download simply fails. A folder isn't created, and manually creating a folder titled "Cracker" doesn't work either.

Trailing periods and spaces as part of folder names are disallowed by the Windows, so this would require a workaround of some sorts.

I only tested this in Firefox, so I can't say anything on whether or not this issue also exists in Chrome.

Almost three years later this is still an issue. Tested in Firefox 83.0 (64-bit) and Chrome 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (64-bit).
