Less clicks for reading posts in LISTs & Hide visible media
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated that in order to read the posts in a list, I currently have to:
- Click on the navigation button
- Click on "Lists"
- Click on the name of the list I want to read. And then I can read posts.
In the official web client, I can simply hover over Lists and click the name of the list to read the posts.
Describe the solution you'd like
Any of the following solutions would be a big improvement for me:
- Add all configured lists directly to the top-level menu, on the same level as "Local", "Federated", etc.
- Show a list of all configured lists when hovering over the "Lists" button, similar to the official web client.
- Provide an option to pin "Local", "Lists", and "Federated" to the top of the page, similar to the mobile app.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Providing a keyboard shortcut for Lists would also be useful.
PS:This client breaks the official web's functionality of hiding media visible by default, which I find quite useful(easily click 👁️ to toggle visibility). I encounter visible media that I would prefer to keep hidden sometimes, and I appreciate the ability to do so.
I have not been able to find a way to hide visible media in Phanpy. I would appreciate it if this functionality could be restored.
I really appreciate the beautiful design of Phanpy, as well as its threads feature. If the two issues mentioned above could be addressed, it would be a perfect client for me.💕
I found that shortcuts save me clicks for going through a list, it really works.I am sorry I didn't notice the shortcut before.
now I just need button to toggle media visibility.
@fishhh666 do you mean this setting "Always hide media"?
@fishhh666 do you mean this setting "Always hide media"?你的意思是这个设置“始终隐藏媒体”吗?
NO,I need this.(Official mastodon web Client)
This 👁️ ”隐藏图像Hide Image“ button makes the currently visible media invisible.
)
@fishhh666 let me clarify this: you want a button to:
- hide media that's visible by default, or
- unhide media that's invisible by default?
For (2), I can understand the logic, but for (1), I don't understand why you want to purposely hide them after seeing them.

yes~Since I have a fear of snakes and BJD dolls, which most people wouldn't consider sensitive enough to be hidden by default, I choose to proactively hide them when I see them. I think that's a good feature.
