Option not to hide UI

Problem I have

When I use Phanpy on mobile, I use the tab/menubar layout. Sometimes after I'm done scrolling through my timeline I want to take a look at notifications, but the tabs are hidden. I need to scroll up to make them reappear, which is a bit slow.

Solution I'd like

I would like a setting so the UI always remain visible.
