Older phone model Checkra1n jailbreak respring loop.
Tell us about your setup:
- What iDevice are you using? iPhone 6
- On what version of iOS is it? 12.4.8
- What version of checkra1n are you using? checkra1n 0.11.0 beta
- What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Ubunutu 20.04.1
- How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? USB-A 3rd party cable, no USB hub
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
- Jailbreak via Checkra1n (The iPhone does not have anything)
- Install Cydia and Cydia Substrate then restart springboard
- The phone gets stuck on respring loop then reboots (after about 5 minutes)
- Jailbreak again but this time the phone gets stuck on jailbreaking state where it says "Booting" and wait 5 - 10 minutes same thing happens again (it will reboot)
- only way to jailbreak is through safe mode then removing "Cydia Substrate" ...
What do you expect, and what is happening instead? I expect my phone to jailbreak again but it goes on a respring loop, the only way to have jailbreak with Checkra1n is by removing Cydia Substrate.
Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options? No, as i mentioned above, this issue only happens in normal mode. and only happens with Checkra1n.
Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...? No, i don't have any screenshot.

That's what i'm doing right now, unfortunately it's been 17 days they still haven't responded or checked this issue.
Same issue after 2 years... EDIT: turns out Cydia showed version 0.9.7111 as the latest one for Cydia Substrate... had to go to ios-repo-updates.com and manually download the actual latest version of Substrate with Filza File Manager to make it work...
