cgiscripts not working

Open grisuf opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

I (hope that I) did the Installation of apache-pandoc as described in the README.md. Pointing my browser to localhost/pandoc shows me "The requested URL /pandoc-cgi/pandoc.py/pandoc/index.md was not found on this server." The index.md - file is in the right directory. I think, that I've got a problem with my cgi-execution. Running a cgi script doesn't work either. Can you point me in the right direction?

thanks,

grisuf

Did you create an index.md file in the pandoc directory?

The requested URL /pandoc-cgi/pandoc.py/pandoc/index.md was not found on this

server.

Make sure to enable the cgi module in apache.

sudo a2enmod cgi

You will also need to add this to your <directory></directory>:

Options +ExecCGI
AddHandler cgi-script .py

to your directory.
