bug: Conversation not loading in a specific scenario

Open surbhitrao opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Suppose an agent is part of two accounts 'A' and 'B'. They’re collaborators of one inbox each from the aforementioned accounts. Imagine a situation wherein the active account inside the app is 'A', the agent receives a push notification of a new conversation creation from account B, now if the agent taps on the push notification the conversation doesn’t load, as the active account is still A.

To Reproduce Create two accounts and one website inbox each inside both of them. Make an agent a collaborator of both inboxes. Enable Push notifications for both accounts in the app. Now login into the app as that agent, switch to the first account. Create a new conversation using web widget from the second account's inbox. Tap on the resulting push notification. The conversation will not load.

Expected behavior The conversation should load as the agent is part of that second account's inbox.

Observed behavior The conversation does not load and the chat screen is filled with undefined values.

Environment

  • Using app.chatwoot.com
  • Device Name: Samsung S20FE 5G
  • OS Version: 12
  • Chatwoot App Version: 1.4.2

Possible fixes The app should automatically switch to the account mentioned in the push notification first and then load the conversation.
