"Message Info" doesn't show encryption key fingerprint, this can be a problem tracking what happened when briefly encrypton broke down

The right-click > "Message Info" popup doesn't seem to show encryption key fingerprint, this can be a problem tracking what happened when briefly encryption broke down. I had the green verification disappear with a complaint the message was sent from another device, but then reappear after we conversed some more. The natural thing to do now, in my opinion, would be to check if the encryption key changed to investigate further, and to see what key may have been used for the unverified messages, to see what's going on. But "Message Info" doesn't show any info on that, so it seems to be impossible to do from Delta Chat's UI.

This seems like a practical security-relevant UI problem. Sorry if this info is somewhere after all and I simply missed it. "Encryption Info" doesn't seem to contain it, since that doesn't reference any older messages from what I can tell.

  • Operating System (Linux/Mac/Windows/iOS/Android):
  • Delta Chat Version: Delta Chat Desktop 1.50.1 (git: flathub) Delta Chat Core v1.152.1
  • Expected behavior: right-click > "Message Info" shows encryption key fingerprints involved
  • Actual behavior: right-click > "Message Info" seems to show zero encryption info for that specific message
  • Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. right-click on any message 2. click "Message Info" 3. Try to find out what keys were used for that specific message
  • Screenshots: I'll omit those for now since I might need to black out most of the dialog contents anyway
  • Logs:
