Connection Failed / Failed to fetch (OpenAI)

Since yesterday i can no longer use OpenAI in any of the chat, also the check process fail with the following message:

Connection failed! API Error: Error from OpenAI: Error: Network Error: Failed to fetch

This might be relevant idk: Migrate to the Responses API

@HexHyte same issue except it still works on the Mac and Windows clients.

Same for all models (Grok, OpenAI models, qwen, Hermes ...) via OpenRouter (i.e. cannot connect). These are, of course, custom provider models.

Chatbox (v1.16.3) on Debian Stable (trixie) run as an AppImage

Note: it is not OpenAI specific. Also, has nothing to do with the suggestion to use the Responses API, which has been around for, maybe, two years.

seems to be OK now.
