[BUG]The iOS app CRASHED and erased EVERY CONVERSATION HISTORY!!!
The app’s been lagging hard for days – frozen screens, random blackouts. Today it totally died. Relaunched it, and BAM!
All chats GONE！
The interface reset to that sterile default setup like I just downloaded it 😭😭. YEARS of drafts, half-finished novels, raw ideas – this was my SOUL poured into text!How does that just… evaporate?!
Running v1.9.5/1.9.7 (which, shockingly, has ZERO cloud backup or even a login?!). “It’s saved locally!” Cool story – WHERE?! Is “local storage” some digital black hole? PLEASE HELP – I’M HYPERVENTILATING HERE.

You should archive this project if you cannot properly test this app and guarantee a decent level of data security! I just upgraded to v1.11.12, and ALL MY CHAT HISTORY IS GONE!!! This is pure madness!!! How do I recover it?!
@lukaszciastko This issue should be related to the previous storage mechanism not being robust enough，we really don't want such a situation to happen, recently we're working hard on improving storage performance and data security. Until these improvements are fully implemented, we strongly recommend regularly backing up your data as a precaution.
@lukaszciastko Which platform are you using? The data maybe find back if it's desktop version, it's in Library/Application Support/xyz.chatboxapp.app for Mac, and %APPDATA%/xyz.chatboxapp.app for windows
I was on ChatBox for iOS (v1.9.10), where I've been keeping irreplaceable logs of my Golden Retriever's growth. Your site claims all files are 'securely stored locally'—so where exactly are they? I need the file path. I used to trust ChatBox completely
