@bthaile I'm wondering if this is already solved for you by Cobra somehow since the string manipulation seems somewhat unreliable. Have you seen this? https://pkg.go.dev/github.com/spf13/cobra/doc#GenMarkdownTree
Can you post this on the emulator repo issues please? I think that's where this is coming from.
This probably needs to wait until a major version release. I don't want to take feature away from anyone in a minor or patch.
