Minimum script requirements for gauge chart

Please could you let me know what the minimum script requirements are for a gauge chart?? At the moment I'm using chart.js, but most of the code in that script I'm not using. I've tried loading base.js with pie.js but the chart isn't rendering.

Chartist has recently been updated to version 1.0 with some new exciting changes like ESM and TypeScript support. The migration guide can be found right here.
