Fill area between stacked bar charts

Hi,

I know you can fill the area between two points on a stacked line char per your example here, but is it possible to do something similar for stacked bars?

Let's say I'm using two stacked bars to illustrate how much $ two people spent before and after discounts on a shopping trip.

Is it possible to fill in the area (in blue - discounts column) between the two bar charts (see my mock-up for a visual of what I mean)?
