Zooming in/out terminal doesn't cause a redraw

Describe the bug

When I zoom in or out and change my terminal font the view is not refreshed and I get duplicate characters:

Expected behavior changes to width and height should be detected and cause a redraw

update: if it's any useful when I pass --width and --height the problem goes away but obviously we can use the whole width
