What happens?
lightly-shaders does not show in desktop effects if installed from chaotic aur. Works from aur.
What is expected to happen?
lightly-shaders shows up in desktop effects (and is configurable) when installed from the chaotic aur

We might be missing another dependency since I had to add https://github.com/chaotic-aur/interfere/blob/master/lightlyshaders-git/PKGBUILD.append. This package was requested in https://github.com/chaotic-aur/packages/issues/1521.
I saw you pushed some commits that refrence this so went ahead and tried it again and it still dosn't show.

I wonder if it was reloaded before testing the other package? Was there a replacement (plasmashell --replace) or a reboot between tests?
opps when I posted those two outputs I forgot to reboot in between. here is what the chaotic aur version shows after a reboot

I just compared the build logs of the building process in Chaotic vs building locally and didn't find any sign of missing build time dependencies. This is a really weird issue 🤔
Yeah it is strange no clue why it's not loading when i install from the chaotic aur but it does from the air.
Btw I'm rebooting every time i install the package to make sure I give KDE the chance to load it

so instead of creating /usr/lib/qt/plugins/kwin/effects/configs/kwin4_lightlyshaders_config.so, it creates /kwin/effects/configs/kwin4_lightlyshaders_config.so
I just tested lightlyshaders-git, and it does not work. Comparing with kwin-effect-rounded-corners-git (another fork of the same upstream project), it can be seen that some files are installed to the wrong location. kwin-effect-rounded-corners-git corrects the issue by adding kdelibs4support to makedepends. I'd expect the same solution should also fix lightlyshaders-git. I've added a comment to the AUR page.

I just removed lightlyshaders-kdegit-git from nightly (not removed the package from database).
did also an interference for the AUR package. Should be all good now
Sorry, forgot this was in AUR and needs an upstream fix. Got confused and thought this was a custom pkgbuild.
The maintainer has updated the package. This issue should be resolved now.
Updated interfere to fix version number (shouldn't start with v). Removed lightlyshaders-kdegit-git from repository.
