Reviving the Website Working Group
There have been some discussions in Slack and in the Community meeting about some suggested changes and improvements to the website, including improving translations and adding content to the site. I'd like to propose that we revive this meeting and re-activate this group in a place other than slack so that we can figure out some processes for making changes/improvements moving forward, and broaden the pool of folks working on the site.
I'm tagging @klumb here -- curious about your interest in continuing as a Maintaner for the repo and I wanted to gauge your interest in co-chairing these meetings with me, if we do resurrect this meeting.
What does everyone think?
Hi @ElizabethN I am not opposed to being a part of this group, co-chairing, or being a maintainer, but I have had some bad experiences co-chairing and maintaining other groups in the past so I would want to chat about this before making a commitment to the group.
I know I am listed as a maintainer on the website now, but I resigned that position about 2 years ago following the website redesign.
Thank you for tagging me.
Going to close this issue as we didn't get much input from the community. We've been handling one-off discussions async through Slack, so it seems like it's working pretty well that way. :+1:
