@zhanyuanucb Connecting to remote ray cluster will using [ray client](https://docs.ray.io/en/latest/cluster/running-applications/job-submission/ray-client.html). Ray client is a grpc proxy, the ` ray.worker.global_worker ` will be none， which is why you get this error....

Using `org.apache.commons.io.input.ClassLoaderObjectInputStream` would help
