Can't use sites with invalid certificates

I am trying to use this REST client. I have an exception already logged with Firefox for a specific website that I need to make REST calls to but your client does not recognize it, so I keep getting that popup about opening a new tab and accepting the exception.

What is workaround for this?

I just removed the exception and added it again but REST client still does not recognize that there is an exception.

How does this work?

I used to use this tool many years ago and it worked like a charm

I am using FF Quantum
