How to biologically interpret negative flux values?

hi, everyone, as I can see there are many people have the same question with me, that is what does a negative flux value biologically mean? Did anyone have some good ideas?

@Joyjoyjoyc I'm not sure. But I guess it's because of the algorithms, and this don't influence the relative amount of fluxes. Negative values means no biological insights but still can be compared. What I did is to scale the value across the samples. That is, smaller values indicate lower fluxes, whether it is positive or negative.
