Request: pinned searches

It would be nice to be able to pin searches like threads, for quickly finding generals.

Pin searches like threads? Do you mean to pin threads from the search entries? (because you can do that by tapping the overflow icon) Or searching through your pinned list?

Pin a search like you would pin a thread, but instead of the thread showing up, it would execute a search (on the current board I guess) so you can quickly find specific threads without having to type the search terms again.

Could be done, but would need some internal refactoring. Maybe someone else has an even better idea that achieves the same thing.

An opt-in feature to keep the search history for board-wide searches, with an option to clear said history, could achieve the same thing I suppose, but then the search function needs to be more easily accessible. I don't think it would be a bad idea to move all the options in the triple-dot menu to the settings , and just have a search button which directly opens the search function (maybe even with the last used search terms, if any, and if opted in) instead. I don't think anyone really uses those options more than once anyway.
