I followed up to page 243.. but the history page seems to be not populating..

it's all good now.. multiple closing down apps and sync did the trick.

For ionicons, I did the npm install --save [email protected] [same version mentioned in book's package.json] but the pause & play icons are misplaced on app. also the video image seems big large than its container.

The video image and icon placement could be a problem with screen resolution. While we have not tested the app on multiple screens resolution, it should work. What is your screen res?
