Going to be messing around with the strawpoll.me API which is super friendly later tonight. Will post my findings.

Ugh why is this going to an API? sounds like something the bot should be able to handle locally...

Apologies for the radio silence. It looks like it can be done within the Discord client by making JSON posts requests to strawpoll. Here are the docs. Still need to fiddle faddle with it because I really don't want to require bs syntax to make it work.
