Release 1.12 preparation
Any joy with the other crash we wanted to fix before release yet? Sorry I haven't had much time to look at anything recently (and won't for the next 2 days).
I'll plan for Saturday to write up some better docs about building and testing to go with the release.
I'll also see if I can scrape together something passable about key changes/progress vs 1.11 - it won't be comprehensive but will hopefully be of some value.

I made some progress, but still not too close to a fix, I need to spend a somewhat full day or two on it, which hasn't been easy lately.

One of the things I was thinking of doing is going through issues closed with code and putting them into 1.12 milestone, that way we can get relatively full picture, though that won't make for a flowing narrative :)
I'm afraid my day has slipped away without producing the docs, will try to pice them together over the next 7 days or so - sorry my time is rather squeezed at the moment.
