Erika is working on some templates and guidance ahead of the doc-a-thon next week and is prioritizing that for the rest of this week (it is also a short week for her). Is this image in particular requested? We did not have feedback about this being a high priority

Hey @ltagliaferri, we ping all our in-progress board items if they don't have any updates after a week. I don't think there's been any particular request for this tutorial, but it's part of the larger set of guides we want. @amouat If it's not high priority perhaps the ordering needs to be looked at.

Open question: is setting this up with Docker Compose still useful for users or should we follow a different pathway to set this up?

This is still interesting to have but is not a priority. There is a Docker Compose example in the readme so there is something there. Would be nice to have the MariaDB tutorial as a prereq here.
