is there a way to fine-tune the position of the detached echo area?

I have enabled (setq exwm-workspace-minibuffer-position 'bottom) but as you can see in this screenshot, the text printed in the echo area is a few pixels too low. Is there a way to add padding to raise the associated frame slightly?
