Yeah without the ability to drive a custom rig this is useless for me

Now there is the possibility of using blendarmocap with custom rigs. Changed the entire mapping system - every object that's generated while detecting has it's own mapping config - when selecting an object you'll find it in the object constraint properties > blendarmocap. There you'll be able to b.e. change the target and it's mapping properties. Once you've remapped to another rig, you are able to save the config using the UI in the 3D Viewport and to also share it via the default import / export. I'll make a tutorial soon.
