Will xsim be maintained? Has it been forked or superseded?

No activities since 2022. And I notice that Clemens was looking for maintainers to take over his projects. His blog hasn't seen activity since then. Looks like he's moved on to better things!

Is there a fork of this project?

Clemens has not been active on his blog and he's also not been active on Stackoverflow since about 2022. It doesn't look like he's able to maintain this package... In the past, he had always been very responsive both on Github and Stackoverflow, but not anymore...
