Current Position in maps (online/offline) is not shown.

With the new Version 2022.01.14 the GPS is working again correctly with android 12 but unfortunately the GPS position is not displayed correctly on the map (either online or offline). Actually no position at all is displayed, therefore the map cannot be used any longer for navigating through a cartridge.

Comment: Instead of the the map the compass is working correctly!

Can you describe what you exactly mean with "Actually no position at all is displayed". Are you missing the position indicator (the blue arrow on map) or is the map not showing anything? Maybe a screenshot would be helpful.

Please also doublecheck if you gave permission to WhereYouGo to access the precise location of your device (check in your phone settings - Apps - Permissions).

Hi Lineflyer, sorry for the missing details. I miss the position indicator (the blue arrow) to be put to my current position. It is displayed but it remains on my "last know" position and is not refreshed by the most recent coordinates. I have also double-checked the permissions: I have activated the precise location for WhereYoGo, as you can see in the screenshot (unfortunately in german). . Thanks for your support!

Is "Location on" (Standort ein) active in the compass (on lower left)?

Hi Lineflyer, yes both buttons are switched on "Location on" and "Compass".

I have similar problem with map - location arrow is not displayed very often, and when it does appear, it is elsewhere and has a purple circle with several hundred meters diameter. The navigation to the zones is absolutely no problem! It doesn't matter on the map type.

The problem was solved by reinstalling the application. There is probably some garbage left after updating the application.
