Strange generated mesh

Hello,

I tried to use GMSH-Airfoil-2D with the following command (the airfoil is symmetric) :

gmshairfoil2d --airfoil n64015a --format mesh

Here is what observe near the trailing-edge:

I do not find this result satisfactory. How can it be improved?

You can try to use the option "--airfoil_mesh_size" and try different value to see what is the best value for your application.

I actually the grid space is fine for me. It is strange that the symmetry of the airfoil is not respected in the generated mesh.

ah ok, but the tool is made to create simple unstructured meshes, and I think you do not really need a symmetry for this kind of mesh. To create, a more complex mesh I think it is still better to use GMSH manually.
