Reuse, contributions, and collaborations

Open cfarm opened this issue 8 years ago • 10 comments

Do you know of an example of open source software / code / design at CFPB that..

  • was forked and reused elsewhere?
  • was used to build something new?
  • received contributions in the form of comments, issues, or pull requests?

Post it here! Once we get a good list, it'd be nice to include on cfpb.github.io.

Not exactly code re-use, but in March 2016 a professor at Oklahoma State assigned his class of 200 Agriculture Economics students to write a class paper on planning for their retirement, and required them to use /retirement/before-you-claim/ to do so. From his feedback:

Thanks for putting this page together. It worked perfect for us, as it was so simple and easy to use but also provided valuable information.
