Unfortunately this issue has not been resolved, despite @TimVerboisCgk best efforts. I am running into the exact same problem. @KhurtinDN's workaround does fix the problem for me though.

I am not using `fetchmail` - so don't know if it works or not. Based on this ticket though - https://github.com/docker-mailserver/docker-mailserver/issues/990 - it seems to have been working on Kubernetes...
