Verify clone/Restore to a different SC than the parent PVC SC for the below cases

Cephfs

  • Cloning across filesystem (less priority) as in most of the system the filesystem remains same
  • Cloning across subvolume groups

RBD

  • Cloning across pools
  • Cloning across rados namespaces.
